TESEOTUR terms and conditions

This document determines the relationship between the Customer and the Tour Operator named “Teseotur” di Teseo snc di David Tordi & C., officially authorized by the Region of Umbria Office – dated 08/11/2006 – authorization number #10097, with a Responsibility Insurance contract on third parties (number 508/14/00513288), released by Toro Assicurazioni Insurance Company.

1- BOOKINGS

Customer can make a reservation request for a specific accommodation through the relative on-line procedure web pages on our websites: www.teseotur.com, www.guidaviaggi.biz, www.travelinitaly.net, www.umbriawinetours.com . Alternatively Customer can make phone and email reservations through the following contacts: +39.0763.393804, +39.0763.305572, +39.0763.394409 - info@teseotur.com – info@travelinitaly.net . Once the Customer has made his reservation, he will receive an e-mail or a fax with two attached forms: the Booking Form, the Payment Method Form and Terms and Conditions document. The reservation will be official as soon as the customer pays the Anticipate payment requested. Once we receive the requested documents (the Payment Method Form, the Booking Form and Terms and Conditions documents must be obligatory signed by the Customer) we will send the customer our Final Balance Payment form. Once the payment is complete, we will send the Customer our Travel Document with directions and contacts about the accommodation.

2 – PAYMENT TERMS

Once the Customer has confirmed his reservation, he will have to pay to Teseotur (according to the Payment Method Form) an anticipate payment from a minimum of 20% to a maximum of 25% of the total (except different specific instructions agreed). The balance of the payment must be paid according to the agreed date (3 weeks before Customer’s arrival). The balance must always be paid within and not later than the Customer’s agreed date of arrival and according to the Payment Method previously chosen. Customer will have to send Teseotur the signed Payment Method Form, Terms and Conditions and Booking form and, in case of a Bank Transfer payment, Customer will also have to send Teseotur the payment receipt via E-mail or Fax to the following contacts: info@teseotur.com or (Fax) +39 0763.394409. Only when Teseotur has received the requested documents, we will send the Customer the Travel Document with information, directions and contacts about the accommodation.

3 – RATES AND OTHER EXPENSES

Rates published on our websites are valid for the current year and include (except other specific agreements) Consumptions Expenses. Extra costs are always written at the bottom of each accommodation’s Rates web page. Tours Rates can be slightly modified. Eventual modifications and changes will be always notified to Customer in time.
-Teseotur Tax: When requested, Customer must obligatory pay a € 20,00 tax for any reservation lasting more than 2 nights and for each Tour. In case Customer requests a particular Insurance Benefit, the Tax will be calculated according to the type of accommodation / Tour booked.

4 – HEATING AND FINAL CLEANINGS

All the accommodations are supplied to the Customer clean and ready to be used. Final Cleanings are usually included in the price, except different agreements. In this case, an Extra Price has to be paid directly to the accommodation owner / representant, according to the Travel Document details.

5 – ACCOMMODATIONS FEATURES AND FACILITIES

All information and descriptions for each accommodation are carefully written. Although, Teseotur is not responsible for eventual illegal or not conform features dealing with any accommodation. Accommodations owner / manager / holder is fully responsible for eventual accommodation illegal or not conform features, according to the Italian specific laws. Images and pictures of the all accommodations listed on Teseotur’s websites/catalogues are examples and represent some aspects of the accommodation. Teseotur may use alternative names for the properties listed.

6 – CUSTOMER RESPONSABILITIES

Customers can previously see an accommodation listed on the Teseotur webistes/catalogues, he can also visit the accommodation after an established appointment with Teseotur and he can also ask for further, specific information concerning the features of the accommodation. Where requested the Customer has to pay a security deposit to the accommodation at their arrival. The security deposit will be totally given back at the end of the vacation in case any damages are not present. In case of damage part of the deposit will be withheld by the accommodation. Customer is directly responsible for any kind of damage done to the accommodation during the vacation. Customer, by booking a vacation, declares that they have seen and read pictures and information about the accommodation chosen on our websites. Access to the property can be denied by the owner in case booked information are not respected as previously written and declared on the Travel Document. Customer must show the Travel Document at the moment of his arrival; in the Travel Document previously sent by Teseotur, there are instructions how to reach the accommodation, street address and phone numbers of the property. The hospitality is exclusively under a responsibility of the property staff.

7 – CANCELLATION RULES

Customer can cancel his booking. No penalty payment is due within the next 48 hours from the booking request. After 48 hours from the booking request we will apply the following Cancellation criteria :

CANCELLATION 30 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE = AMOUNT TO PAY (OR WITHHELD ANTICIPATE PAYMENT) : 20% OF THE TOTAL.

CANCELLATION BETWEEN 29 AND 20 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE = AMOUNT TO PAY : 40% OF THE TOTAL.

CANCELLATION BETWEEN 19 AND 10 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE = AMOUNT TO PAY : 60% OF THE TOTAL.

CANCELLATION BETWEEN 9 AND 2 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE = AMOUNT TO PAY : 80% OF THE TOTAL.

CANCELLATION 1 DAY BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE OR NO SHOW = AMOUNT TO PAY : 100% OF THE TOTAL.

(This last cancellation rule is also valid in case Customer stops his vacation before the established and declared ending date according to the Travel Document).

The penalty payment due to Teseotur must be paid according to the following payment methods: Anticipate Payment withholding, Credit card, Paypal, Bank transfer.

8 – CLAIMS

In case Customer at his arrival finds relevant differences not according to what previously seen on our websites/catalogues , he must contact Teseotur in order to verify his claims . Customer lets Teseotur a reasonable laps of time to find and propose alternative accommodation options. In case Customer decides to abandon the accommodation before the established ending date he will not have any right about eventual refunds. In case an alternative solution of the same level can not be supplied, Teseotur will refund the total vacation/tour price except the Teseotur tax and the 20% of the total and other extra expenses (flight and train tickets, car rentals, taxis etc…). Claims successive to the vacation period have not any refund right.

9- TESEOTUR RESPONSABILITIES

Teseotur is not responsible in any case for damages directly and not directly caused by the Customer. Teseotur is not responsible for any lacks or omissions done or caused by the property owner.
Teseotur is not responsible for:
a) Natural and / or typical noises caused by the accommodation location and environment (dogs, birds, rivers, sea, etc…);
b) Noises caused by agricultural machines and means during certain periods of the year (for instance tractors during the grape picking, etc…);
c) Noises caused by temporary maintainance activities or works taking place around the accommodation.
d) Temporary denied access to the swimming pool caused by particular technical problems, maintainance, weather conditions;
e) Objects lost inside the rooms/apartments;
f) Specific Satellite Tv channels not available;
g) Air conditioned / heating system presence in all the rooms of the accommodation
h) Information and particular Customer’s needs and request not told or expressed while booking.

-For the bookings of the accommodations listed in www.teseotur.com , Teseotur acts like an intermediary, so it is responsible restrictly to the rules and the duties inherent this kind of activity.

-For the bookings of the Tours listed in www.travelinitaly.net, organized and made by Teseotur itself, Teseotur is totally responsible of the product.

10 - PRIVACY

All the personal data are confidential respecting the the D.LGS 196 law, dated June, 30th 2003. All information data are used exclusively for management and commercial purposes according to the privacy law.

11 - LEGAL ACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS - Any attempted legal action against Teseotur will be filed with the Orvieto Court.
