1) BOOKING PROCEDURE

To send us a booking request you can use our internal Instant Message system (Chat), E-mail address, or Phone numbers that you find in our website.
Once our Staff has verified and confirmed the availability of a Teseotur property, we will ask the client their required personal data. Afterwards will send them an E-mail or Fax with the following documents attached to the Email:

- BOOKING REQUEST FORM

 

- ANTICIPATE/BALANCE PAYMENT FORM

- TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The first attachment (BOOKING REQUEST FORM) contains all of the required client data and information, together with the booking request information.
The second attachment (ANTICIPATE PAYMENT or BALANCE PAYMENT FORM) contains information about how to do the payment, giving the client a choice among (wire transfer, PayPal, or Visa/Mastercard/Amex credit cards). This payment has to be done no later than 2 business days after receiving the booking documentation. During this period the property is optioned for the client. If the client could not be able to pay in time, he must contact Teseotur. In case the payment is not done during the established period, the booking request will be considered not valid. After receiving the payment and sent us all the required documents via Fax (+39-0763-394-409), the BALANCE PAYMENT FORM (if necessary) will be sent to the client, about the remaining payment due for the booking. All of the extra expenses will be due upon the client arrival at the property. Normally, the anticipate total payment is required for high and peak season reservations (summer, holidays and national festivities). For this periods, for bookings happening in the last 30 days before the clients arrival, just the Balance Payment Form will be sent to the client, to proceed a unique payment.
Once the client has made the total payment and completed the requested procedure sending the signed forms via Fax or scanned Email, we will send out an E-mail or Fax with the final:

- TRAVEL DOCUMENT 

  

This document contains property directions and phone numbers. Together with the travel document, Teseotur will send useful information about the area where the property is located, and a feedback form.

For each booking, it is required a Booking Fee of € 10,00.

 

 


2) TESEOTUR terms and conditions

This document explains and determines the agreement between the client and "Teseotur" di Teseo snc di David Tordi & C., Travel Agency with regular authorization issued by the Umbria Region - # 10097 dated 08/11/2006 – authorization # 10097, with a Responsibility Insurance contract on third parties (# 508/14/00513288), issued by Toro Assicurazioni Insurance Company. Teseotur is a travel agency that deals with tourism products intermediation and commercialization. The travel intermediation contract is disciplined and ruled by the law dated 27/12/1977, # 1084.

1- BOOKINGS
The client can make a reservation request for a specific accommodation through the web pages of our websites: www.teseotur.com, www.travelinitaly.net or other Teseotur catalogues. Reservation requests can be done via online form, E-mail, Instant Message system, phone, through the following contacts: (+39) 0763-393-804, (+39) 0763-305-572, (+39) 06-99196557, (+39) 0763-394-409 - info@teseotur.com – info@travelinitaly.net. Teseotur operators are available on the phone Mondays through Fridays (holidays not included) from 9.30 AM to 1 PM and from 2.30 PM to 6 PM. Once the Client has sent his reservation request, he will receive an e-mail or a fax with three attached forms: the Booking Form (confirming the client real interest in booking), the Payment Method Form (partial or total balance) and the Terms and Conditions document. The reservation will only be confirmed when the client pays the anticipate payment requested and sends Teseotur the required documents, as reported on the forms. The reservation is completed and official once Teseotur sends the client the final Travel Document, containing property directions, phone numbers and useful information.

2 – AGREEMENT AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
To confirm his reservation, the client must pay to Teseotur no later than 2 business days (according to the Payment Method Form and payment methods available), an anticipate payment until a maximum of 25% of the total (except different specific instructions agreed via Email or Fax). The balance of the payment can be paid upon the client arrival at the property (except for high and peak season reservations), or it will have to be paid no later than 30 days before the arrival date, always according to the Teseotur payment form.
For bookings done 30 days before the arrival date and related to High or Peak Season periods (including national holidays, New Year’s, Easter, Christmas), the client has to pay the balance payment according to what reported by Teseotur via Email or Fax.
In any case, the client must send Teseotur a copy of the signed Payment Method Form, Terms and Conditions and Booking Form and, in case of a bank wire transfer payment, also a payment receipt. The required documents can be sent via E-mail or Fax to the following contacts: info@teseotur.com or Fax (+39) 0763-394-409. Only after receiving the requested documents, Teseotur will send the client the Travel Document with information, directions and contacts about the accommodation. The Travel Document must be printed and brought to the property for the arrival. If any document or payment is missing, this can cause the cancellation of the reservation, being an expressed cancellation motivation.

3 – RATES AND OTHER EXPENSES
Rates published on our websites are valid for the current year and include (except other specific agreements) consumptions expenses, such as water, electricity, kitchen gas. Extra costs (such as final cleanings) whereas required, are written at the bottom of each accommodation’s “prices” web page of Teseotur websites. Final cleanings must usually be paid at the property.
-Teseotur booking fee (obligatory): Teseotur requires a booking fee of € 10,00 for any reservation.
-Insurance (not obligatory): If the client requests a booking insurance (art. 12), the price of the insurance will vary depending on the type and duration of the journey. This insurance must be requested while doing the reservation or no later than the following 24 hours.

4 – HEATING AND FINAL CLEANINGS
All of the accommodations are given to the Client clean and ready to be used. Final cleanings and heating costs, if they are not included, must be paid at the end of the journey directly to the accommodation owner / representative, according to the Travel Document details.

5 – PROPERTIES: FEATURES AND AMENITIES
All the information and descriptions about each accommodation are carefully written. Although, interior and exterior elements of each property could be slightly modified. In this case, the changes will be told the client during the booking confirmation procedure. Teseotur is not responsible for eventual illegal or not conform features dealing with any accommodation. Properties owner / manager / holder is fully responsible for any property illegal or not conform features, according to the Italian specific laws. Images and pictures of all of the properties listed on Teseotur websites/catalogues are examples and represent some of the aspects of the property. Teseotur uses alternative-evocative names for the properties listed on its websites or catalogues.

6 – CLIENT RESPONSABILITIES AND OBLIGATIONS
The client can previously see an accommodation listed on the Teseotur websites/catalogues, he can also visit the property after an established appointment with Teseotur (when this is possible) and he can also ask for further specific information concerning the features of the accommodation itself (even if each feature is evaluated in a total subjective way). When requested, the client has to pay a cash security deposit to the accommodation upon the arrival. The security deposit will be totally given back at the end of the vacation in case any damages are not present. In case of damages, part of the deposit will be withheld by the property owner / manager. The client is therefore directly responsible for any kind of damage done to the accommodation during the vacation. The client has to behave responsibly, respecting the place and the property.
The client, by booking a Teseotur property, declares that they have seen and read pictures and information about the accommodation chosen on Teseotur websites. The client must inform Teseotur about any particular personal request (if possibly doable). If the request is doable, it can be part of specific and special agreements wrote as a note on the travel document. The client must also inform Teseotur about possible needs or conditions (pregnancy, allergies, etc..).
The access to the property can be denied by the owner/manager in case the client does not mean to pay a deposit or in case the booking information are not respected as previously written and declared on the travel document (such as different number of people, unexpected pets, etc.). The property owner/manager can temporarily deny the access to the property in case of particular conditions (for example a temporary maintenance). The client must bring the travel document containing property directions, address and contacts, and show it at the arrival. The client must contact the property before the arrival to agree about the arrival time. Most properties are not hotels and do not have a real reception desk. They usually check in the afternoon, not later than 6 PM, while they usually check out in the morning, between 9.30 and 11.30 AM. The hospitality is exclusively under the responsibility of the property staff.

7 – CANCELLATION RULES
In case the client cancels his reservation after two business days from the reservation request, and after confirming the reservation by sending the requested payment, or after providing Teseotur credit card data as a guarantee, the following cancellation rules will be applied.
- Cancellation rules applied: in case the reservation is cancelled, the anticipate payment and the booking fee are not refundable in any case. Moreover the client must pay (via credit card or wire transfer) the penalty amount, according to the following cancellation criteria:
CANCELLATION 30 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE: The amount due is the anticipate payment sent. If an anticipate payment has not been sent (for example a credit card guarantee), the client will be charged of 20% of the total (including booking fee).
CANCELLATION BETWEEN 29 AND 20 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE: The amount due is 40% of the total (including booking fee).
CANCELLATION BETWEEN 19 AND 10 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE: The amount due is 60% of the total (including booking fee).
CANCELLATION BETWEEN 9 AND 2 DAYS BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE: The amount due is 80% of the total (including booking fee).
CANCELLATION 1 DAY BEFORE THE VACATION STARTING DATE OR NO SHOW: The amount due is 40% of the total (including booking fee).

(The last cancellation rule is also valid in case the client interrupts his vacation before the established and declared ending date according to the travel document). The penalty payment due to Teseotur must be paid according to the following payment methods: anticipate payment withholding, credit card, Pay Pal, bank wire transfer. A cancellation communication has to be sent in a written form via Fax or E-mail and during business days (Mondays to Fridays from 9.30 AM to 6 PM).

8 – CLAIMS
In case the client at his arrival finds relevant differences not according to what previously seen or read on Teseotur websites/catalogues, he must contact Teseotur in order to verify his claims. The client lets Teseotur a reasonable laps of time to find and propose alternative accommodation options. If this is not possible, and the client decides to leave the accommodation before the established ending date, he will not have any right about any refunds. In case the upcoming problem cannot be immediately solved, causing the journey to be ruined, Teseotur will try to provide the client a valid alternative accommodation, for the same standards. In case another accommodation cannot be provided, Teseotur (only if objectively responsible) will refund the whole amount of money paid, not including the booking fee and the anticipate payment. Extra refunds, such as travel expenses, flight tickets, etc., are never refundable. Claims done after the booked journey are not refundable in any way. In case the client decides to leave the accommodation before the established ending date he will not have any right about eventual refunds. The client must claim their problem or issue as soon as he notice the issue itself. The client can also formally claim their problem or issue within 10 business days after returning to their original location. The claim must be in the form of a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. Claims later than 10 business days after the vacation will not give the right for any refund (as explained on the Article # 98, law 206/2005).

9- TESEOTUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Teseotur, being an intermediary pure and simple, is only responsible for its intermediary obligations, according to the law, and only in case the client proves a negligent behavior by Teseotur. Teseotur is relieved by any failure risk connected to the single tourist service, which is born exclusively by the supplier (property), and not by the intermediary, since the intermediary job ends as soon as he provides the client-traveler, in a written form, the necessary information for the success of the tourist service.
Teseotur is not responsible in any case for damages directly and not directly caused to the client by actions taken by the owner/manager of the property. Teseotur is not responsible for any lacks or omissions done or caused by the property owner.
Teseotur is not responsible for any lack of legal permissions about the properties.
Teseotur is also not responsible for:
a) Natural and / or typical noises caused by the property location and environment (dogs, birds, rivers, sea, etc…);
b) Noises caused by agricultural machines and tools during certain periods of the year (for instance tractors during the grape/olive picking, etc…);
c) Noises caused by temporary and exceptional maintenance activities or works taking place around the property;
d) Temporary denied access to the swimming pool or to the accommodation caused by particular technical problems, maintenance, severe weather conditions happened right before the arrival;
e) Objects lost inside the property;
f) Specific Satellite TV channels not available (where a Sat TV system is available);
g) Temporary unavailability (caused by a technical problem) of the air conditioning / heating system in all of the rooms of the accommodation;
h) Information and particular client’s needs and requests not told or expressed while booking.

10 – PRIVACY & PERSONAL DATA
All the personal data are confidential, as requested by the law # 196/2003. All the information data are used exclusively for management and commercial purposes according to the privacy law. All of the data will be destroyed and cancelled at the end of their use, according to the data safety program (Law # 196/2003 “Personal data protection code”).

11 - LEGAL ACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS
Any attempted legal action against Teseotur will be filed with the Orvieto Court.

12. INSURANCE
It is possible and suggested to buy special insurance services, while booking, to cover the expenses caused by the reservation cancellation.

ADDENDUM – GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR CONTRACT SELLING SINGLE TOURIST SERVICES – RULES DISPOSITIONS. Contracts who deal with offering one single tourist service, such as transportation, accommodation, cannot be considered as a tourist package. Therefore the single services are ruled and disciplined by the following CCV dispositions: Articles # 1, # 3, # 6, from # 17 to # 23, from # 24 to 31, for what concerns predictions different from those about the organization contract, and from the other issues specifically referred to the single tourist service, object of this contract.
