Marches areas

Pesaro, Urbino and Frasassi area

The north part of the Marches region has many places that are worth to visit, such as Pesaro (the main city), Urbino, with its charming old town, and the Frasassi Caves, a world wide famous natural crystals environment perfectly kept and that definitely must be visited. The coast with its several beaches is very nice and very accessible.

Ancona and Conero area

Ancora, the largest city in the Marches, is right along the coast and has one of the most important docks in Italy. Near Ancona is the spectacular Conero natural park, with lots of paths, beaches and places that can be reached during excursions. The park begins from the coast and goes inland for several kms, offering incredible natural wild landscapes.

Ascoli Piceno and Sibillini Park area

In the south part of the Marches, we find another great natural park, called the Sibillini Park. This side of Marches is rich of high hills. On one of these hills is the beautiful town of Ascoli Piceno, with its amazing squares and buildings. Around Ascoli Piceno we find the Sibillini natural park, where very wild locations and hidden towns are definitely worth to visit.
