FEATURES - The elegant country house in Tuscany originated from the union of the lands of the Archbishops of Florence and those of the Borromeo family. The junction of these two components of the Florentine Renaissance in the XVI century aided the development of the district in agricultural and artistic terms.

The historical wine cultivation is now carried out by the owners who have renewed the antique vineyards.
The charming location on the outskirts of Florence, in the Florentine Chianti area, unites the many possibilities of food and wine tours and the easy access to the artistic treasures of Tuscany. Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca and Pisa are only an hour away by car. Florence is also reachable by public transportation.
The lively nearby town of San Casciano in Val di Pesa contains many works of art and historical buildings and also nice shops within its medieval walls. The Medici Palace, the Museum of the Sacred Arts and the nearby Machiavelli’s home deserve a visit.

ACCOMMODATION - All of the suites are furnished with independent heating and air-conditioning, telephone and modem, satellite TV and a safe. The bathrooms with a shower or whirlpool have hair-dryers and a wide selection of bath products.
The suites are cleaned daily.

FACILITIES - In the wine cellar, besides the wine of the farm, the owners have selected the best quality wines of Tuscany.

You will discover this and much more at our Tavern, but above all you will enjoy the genuine flavours and the intriguing aromas of an area of important gastronomic history, for example ribollita (peasant bread soup), beans and greens, carabaccia, but also steak, grilled meats and cod.
The tavern-restaurant is in the antique olive mill, with its wood-burning fireplace, or on the large terrace with its breathtaking view. Lunch and dinner are served only by reservation. Outside, in the private garden there is a wonderful swimming pool.
