FEATURES - Poggio Bevagna Property is a big farmhouse that is situated in an area between Bevagna and Gualdo Cattaneo (Perugia). It is on the country hills, 600 mt above sea-level and it extends for 400 hectares. Olive-groves and woods of tall trees are characteristic of this area.
It is also full of historical and religious calls dating back to the Thirteenth Century. There are remains of an ancient convent, "Monastero del Monte", known as "Monastero delle Civitelle", built in 1198. In this Benedectine convent nuns lived until 1555, the year when Cardinal Farnese destroyed it. There is also a recent sanctuary ("Santuario Madonna della Valle"), that was built in 1921. It is a place that every year many pilgrims decide to visit as a place full of religious significance. In Bevagna you can visit the remains of Antignano Castle and Tower dated back to the Thirteenth Century. The farmhouse, property of Agricola Antinori, has created a place for you to spend perfect holidays, relax and enjoy its natural environment. The ease of access, its closeness to some of Umbria's best known tourist attractions and its magnificent view of Perugia and Spoleto areas make it one of the most unique destination in its kind.

ACCOMMODATION - 15 bedrooms, 27 apartments, 5 chalets (bungalow). The property has been recently restored. It offers double bedrooms, rooms with three or four beds. They are located on the ground floor or on the first floor and furnished in plain style. The bedrooms have a bath or a shower room, some of them have a window, some have an air-exhauster. All bedrooms have fridge/freezer, Sat Tv and telephone. Some of them have a balcony or terrace. The suite is situated on the second floor and has a balcony with panoramic view over the Umbrian landscape, spreading from Montefalco until Assisi. Apartments are located on the ground floor and have Sat Tv, a fully furnished kitchen and shower room. They are also furnished in plain style and have four gas burners (there is no oven). Some of them have telephone.

The 2-roomed apartments for 4 persons have a fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a double sofa-bed. The three-roomed apartments have two double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a shower room. All apartments have balcony or terrace with a table.
The five wooden chalets are located in a private area of the estate, under secular oaks. They are an ideal accommodation for people who look for privacy and relax. From the chalets location you can also enjoy the enchanting Umbrian landscape. They are furnished in plain style and have Sat Tv, a fully equipped kitchen with four gas burners. The four efficiency apartments have a double sofa bed, a bunk bed ans a shower room. They are suitable for a family with two children. The only two-roomed chalet has a double bedroom, a bedroom with a bunk bed and a shower room. All chalets have a patio.

FACILITIES - Restaurant: typical Umbrian dishes cooked with local products (olive-oil, cheeses, vegetables, wines). There is also a pizza corner (on request).
Clients have the possibility of BB, HB or FB. In the HB and FB price you can choose between two dishes of “pasta”, meat and vegetable, fruit. Price does not include drinks, dessert and coffee. Other facilities: bar, reception, parking area, two pools (12x6x2,50 – 18x9x1,20), consacrated Benedectine church, ping pong, childrens’ play-area, reading room, pic-nic area, barbecue. Extra payment: tennis, horses, mountain bikes, lake (where you can also fish). Olive-oil and wines are also sold and can be tasted.
