FEATURES - The palace was built during the Middle Age and it is located not far from Rocca Ripesena, in the northwest area of Orvieto. This building is the perfect example of an ancient country residence: it has all the features of a town palazzo, even though it stands alone on the top of a hill in the open countryside.
The property is surrounded by vineyards on the side of the hill between Rocca Ripesena and the Hermitage. Unfolding before it to the southeast is a view of the tuffaceous spur of Rocca Ripesena and the Paglia river valley, with the great Orvieto rock in the background.

ACCOMMODATION - The elegant and comfortable 7 suites were created respecting the original palace architectural structure and they are furnished with all the comforts and conveniences needed to make your stay exclusive and unforgettable.

Every suite has heating and air-conditioning, satellite TV, radio, direct-dial telephone, fast Internet connection, a small safety-deposit box, minibar and electric kettle for brewing your favorite tea or tisane.

Junior Suite (for 2 guests)

The Junior Suite directly opens onto the living room, with a mullioned window that offers a splendid view of the vineyards in the valley. The suite owes its relaxing, charming atmosphere to the architectural philosophy based on the careful and natural use of Palazzone’s centuries-old structural elements.
The double bed, changing room and bathroom are set on a loft that blends perfectly with the architectural structure of the suite, for a harmonious combining of the old with the new, refined and elegant décor with convenience and functionality.

Family 1 Suite (for 4 guests)

The Family 1 Suite is set on two levels and it is designed to be also used by disabled persons. The suite entrance is on the lower level, which includes the bright living room and the bathroom; the master bedroom and the double bedroom are on the upper level.
Rooms are pleasant and tastefully furnished, creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere enhanced by the details resulting from the touch of simple elegance used in decorating the suite.

Family 7 Suite (for 4 guests)

The Family 7 Suite opens onto the spacious living room, with its mullioned window offering a view of the hills; next to the living room is the master bedroom, with a large mullioned window facing the vineyards in the valley.
The upper level has a double room with a view toward the town of Orvieto, as well as a changing room and the bathroom.
The Family 7 Suite is larger than the Family 1 Suite and offers a wonderful view over the Orvieto tufa rock.

The Double Suite has a living room with a mullioned window framing chestnut woods and the hills furrowed by grapevines, offering plays of light in an evocative chiaroscuro of light and dark hues. The décor is tasteful and elegant with warm, relaxing colors.Adjoining the living room are the bedroom and bathroom; overall the suite is simple and practical, designed with great attention to details, for a rewarding stay in a warm atmosphere of simple elegance.

The Cardinale Suite has a large living room with three mullioned windows facing the vineyards and the gentle rolling hills that create an atmosphere characterized by the suggestive play of light and shadow.This pleasant, comfortable suite has the decisive character of a piece of art aspiring to the new and modern, restrained by a reassuring affection for the original architectural elements that were recovered and restored to enhance their old, noble construction.The double bed, the changing room and the bathroom are set on a loft, creating a suffused, intimate space in following with the criteria of renewed elegance that inspired the redesigning of the spaces.

FACILITIES - At Locanda Palazzone the guest's comfort is the principal purpose, that is why breakfast is served in the garden, with natural products prepared in our kitchen. Concerning the restaurant services:

In the summer time, suppers are prepared every evening except Thursday and Sunday. For relaxing, the swimming pool is open from May to October. The pool can be freely used and changing rooms and showers are always available.
