IL MORONE

From an old stone-mill, working until 1800, we obtained three comfortable apartments which we called: Civetta, Giraffa and Leocorno, 2 trilocali and one bilocale at the ground floor
The name of this typical country-house is “Il Morone”, as the miller’s name, when he used to live here with his family.
The original old millstone, having grained a lot of wheat through the years, is now exhibited in the centre of the garden.
Old people say it brings good luck to touch the stone before leaving Tuscany…
The mill-pond, that used to provide water to the mill, is now used as an external small swimming-pool
