FEATURES - Standing entirely on its own, Poggio Verde is a pretty stone built house, located on a quiet hillside with panoramic far reaching views. Surrounding this small attractive residence are 5,000 square metres of gardens. Olive, oak and a variety of fruit trees, including apple, plum and fig, give way to gently sloping green lawns overlooking the landscape.

The whole property exudes a feeling of calm and relaxation. There are covered terraces on both sides of the house, one leading directly from the kitchen has a built in barbecue, making it ideal for outdoor eating. This terrace also overlooks the pool, which enjoys a wonderful view over vineyards towards the Umbrian hills. A further terrace at first floor level, with doors opening on to it from the principal bedroom, is perfect for catching the last of the evening sunshine.
The closest village is Baschi, where there are a number of shops, restaurants, a bank, petrol station and a wonderful pasticceria, renowned for its cakes and pastries.Orvieto is only a 20 minutes drive from Poggio Verde, Todi, Spoleto and the lake at Bolsena are within 30 - 40 minutes drive, whilst Rome may be reached in 1,5 hours, Florence and Siena in 2 hours.
