General Terms & Conditions

This document determines the relationship between the Customer and the Tour Operator named “Teseotur” di Teseo snc di David Tordi & C., officially authorized by the Region of Umbria Office – dated 08/11/2006 – authorization number #10097, with a Responsibility Insurance contract on third parties (number 508/14/00513288), released by Generali Assicurazioni Insurance Company.

 

BOOKING REQUESTS
Customer can make a reservation request for a specific tour / vacation / tourist service through the related on‐line web form or send an E-mail to info@teseotur.com. Once the request has been processed by our staff we will send to the customer e-mail all the instructions and documents necessary (first our Booking and Payment document, and our final Confirmation Voucher ) to finalize the reservation.

 

TOURS / SERVICES /ACCOMMODATIONS – FEATURES AND FACILITIES
All information and descriptions for each tour, accommodation or other tourist service are carefully written. However, Teseotur is not responsible for any illegal or not conform feature related to any accommodation or single provider.

 

CANCELLATION RULES

In the event that objective reasons related to national / regional decrees (documentable) that prevent travel or other legal provisions that make it impossible to fully carry out the tours / tourist service reserved no cancellation penalties will be applied and the entire amount paid by the customer will be converted into a “Special Voucher” of equal value that the customer can spend at the Teseotur agency within 2 years from the date of issue.

In the event that a member of the group should withdraw for objective (documentable) health reasons or because they are subject to fiduciary isolation or because they reside in a declared “restricted area”, Teseotur agency will issue a pro-quota refund. Otherwise for any customer cancellation without due to motivations not  classifiable as causes of force majeure, we will apply the following standard cancellation criteria:

Cancellation before 90 days before the tour/service starting date = 20% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation between 90 and 61 days before the tour/service starting date = 30% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation between 60 and 40 days before the tour/service starting date = 40% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation between 39 and 30 days before the tour/service starting date = 50% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation between 29 and 15 days before the tour/service starting date = 60% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before the tour/service starting date = 80% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation between 6 and 2 days before the tour/service starting date = 90% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation 1 before the tour/service starting date or no show = 100% of the total amount is due.

Cancellation request must be sent via E-mail at info@teseotur.com.

 

COMPLAINTS
In case the Customer detects any relevant differences not in accord to what previously agreed, he/she must imediately contact Teseotur in order to verify the complaint. The Customer must leave Teseotur a reasonable amount of time in order to solve the issue and/or find an alternative solution. In case the Customer decides not to communicate any claim or complaint, no refund right is available. Claims following the end of the tour/service period cannot be accepted. In case Teseotur is not able to solve the problem, Teseotur will refund 70% of the total service price.

 

TESEOTUR RESPONSABILITIES
Teseotur is not responsible in any case for damages directly and not directly caused by the Customer. Teseotur is not responsible for any lacks or omissions done or caused by the property owner or service supplier.
Teseotur is not responsible for:

Lost Customer objects
Information and specific Customer’s needs and requests not told or expressed while booking
Individual customer behaviors that involve risks and crimes
Customer not possession of required Covid-19 vaccine Card CDC (or equivalent Eu Green Pass) and identity card/passport

 

EXTRA COVERAGE
Since our services are land only, we can not provide any assistance for flights. So that customer can request additional insurance for cancellation, medical assistance, injuries directly to personal insurance company.

COVID-19 INSURANCE
There are special insurance policies that are also valid for cases related to Covid-19. These policies are therefore recommended for those who intend to travel having protection and the possibility of obtaining reimbursement in the event of a claim related to the pandemic or also to other reasons of nature documentable health care (accident, illness, hospitalization, etc.). Regarding the policies it is important to know that: they must be purchased and issued 30 days before the (first) day of the holiday / stay / service established; the policies also insure medical expenses and costs also related to the Covid-19 pandemic; for policies that ensure the reimbursement of any cancellation penalties it will be necessary to have a document certifying the penalties applied to the tourist; insurance policies have compensation limits below the maximum indicated in the policy issue phase and may have deductibles; the cost of the insurance premium of the policies can be quantified in the estimate phase based on variables (destination, participants age, duration, costs etc …) related to the trip / stay / service booked.
Our agency can provide, on demand, special Covid-19 insurance valid for the Italian territory.

 

PRIVACY POLICY
All the personal data are confidential respecting the D.LGS 196 law, dated June, 30th 2003. All information data are used exclusively for management and commercial purposes according to the privacy law and the European G.D.P.R. 2018 law.

 

LEGAL ACTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS
Any attempted legal action against Teseotur will be filed with the Terni Court (Umbria – Italy)
